Since I began my education with Breathing Deeply, I have a better understanding of myself and others through a therapeutic lens.

When I applied to Breathing Deeply, I wanted to deepen my understanding and help others ease pain and discomfort. I was attracted to the learning model that included independent study, in-person study, small group work, and teacher-student learning. I was also attracted to the program’s online and NY location. Anna was very welcoming on my admissions call, where I learned more about the program. I also connected with Brandt, whose teaching style resonated with me.

Prior to this training, yoga was “asana”. Using pranayama and meditation has deepened my practice and helped me through some major [personal] physical conditions.

When I applied, I did not know what to expect from the program. At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the content, but I very soon realized that Brandt understood different types of learners and presented the material in a way I could understand.

All of the course content and the presentation of the materials and curriculum have been extremely valuable to me. A major shift work-wise is that I find that I am more present when I work with clients and in my yoga teaching.

I work mainly with clients who are 60-plus. They present with aches and pains in my classes, and I can now offer individual suggestions. In addition, I am now able to help individuals with not only their physical health but also their mental health.

I can say that my experience has been only positive!
