Since I started the Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy Program, I have developed an effective model for therapeutically working with clients in a one-on-one setting. I enjoy the work very much and am having great success reducing clients’ suffering and pain.
When I applied, I’d been teaching yoga for over 20 years and wanted to develop and cultivate a one-on-one private yoga therapy practice. Searching online, I found Breathing Deeply’s course and resonated with the philosophy and approach.
The Koshic/Doshic model from this program has given me a framework for working with clients using the yoga techniques I’ve studied, practiced, and learned over the past thirty years.
When asked what the most useful/valuable part of the program has been for me, I have to answer that I loved the whole program, really! The 50 video lessons are fabulous to watch and listen to. The support manual is concise. The meditations, etc are great to go back to over and over again. And the Q&A’s with Brandt are incredibly valuable. He’s an amazing teacher.
This training has completely exceeded my expectations. Brandt and the Breathing Deeply support team are accessible and knowledgeable. Any questions I had throughout were addressed promptly, answered, and resolved.
I own a yoga studio and have been teaching classes for many years. I’m using my yoga therapy training to cultivate a private practice, and I am LOVING working one-on-one to help clients reduce suffering.
Since starting the program, I have seen effective results in the range of motion and less pain in my clients’ physical complaints. I have also seen improved mental well-being in their emotional complaints. I’ve been amazed at the results I’ve had working with multiple clients with shoulder issues such as rotator cuff tears and acromion process injuries. Using the Breathing Deeply koshic/doshic model, the joint freeing series exercises, and yogic breathing, asana, and pranayama techniques, my clients have improved substantially, gaining back range of motion with a reduction in pain symptoms!
What would I want a potential yoga therapy student who is considering the Breathing Deeply program to know? Ahh, it is a wonderful program that integrates yoga philosophy and practices for personal growth and gives you the tools to work therapeutically with clients.
